I'm Catherine and I am seeking to strengthen my journalistic skills this year before I graduate college. I am from Philadelphia, but have a passion for San Diego's local news coverage. I am also passionate about music, my work at SDSU's radio station (KCR), news and politics, writing/news writing, and cooking. 

I try to bring my passion into every story I write. Even when it's news and not opinion, one of the things I care most about in my work is telling the stories that go untold. A quote I follow in life and my work is, "I'm for truth, no matter who tells it. I'm for justice, no matter who it is for or against" -Malcolm X. I want to share the truths that go unspoken and use journalism to maintain justice.
